NC Fusion Foundation is active in various after school programs throughout the Greensboro Area. The three main soccer partners for our after school programs are Community in Schools, Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and Guilford County Schools After school Care Enrichment Services (ACES). At the request of the program, our coaches provide one or two hour soccer sessions either once or twice a week. All of our coaches have attended US Youth Soccer courses and have received instruction on best practices for positive youth development. Coaches follow a child centered curriculum to teach basic soccer skills that include: dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. At the same time the 5 Pillars of the NC Fusion Foundation Development Model are also incorporated: effort, respect, self-direction, helping/leading others and positive off the pitch.
